מרק וולוביץ הוא היסטוריון העוסק בפוליטיקה ותרבות יהודית במרכז ומזרח אירופה במאה ה-20, הגירה, אנטישמיות מודרנית, והשואה. הוא בוגר האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובעל דוקטורט מהחוג להיסטוריה באוניברסיטת פרינסטון. הוא שימש כעמית מחקר מעטם קרן לברהיום במרכז לחקר האנטישמיות באוניברסיטת בירקבק, לונדון. ספרו, ״German as a Jewish Problem: The Language Politics of Jewish Nationalism", פורסם על-ידי הוצאת אוניברסיטת סטנפורד ב-2020. הספר בוחן את מקומה של השפה הגרמנית בהיסטוריה היהודית המודרנית ואת השפעתה על התרבות הפוליטית היהודית מסוף המאה ה-19 ועד לשנות השישים של המאה ה-20. מחקרו הנוכחי עוסק בנסיונות להקים גופים פרלמנטרים יהודים בתחילת המאה ה-20, ובהשפעת ״הפרוטוקולים של זקני ציון״ על הפוליטיקה היהודית באירופה בין שתי מלחמות העולם. מרק הוא עורך-שותף של הספר "Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and the Politics of Definition"', שיצא לאור ב-2023 על ידי הוצאת Palgrave Macmillan. ב-2019 שימש כיועץ אקדמי של המוזיאון היהודי בלונדון עבור התערוכה והיה עורך שותף של קטלוג התערוכה "Jews, Money, Myth".
