בהכשרתי אני היסטוריונית של המזרח התיכון. המחקר שלי מתמקד בהיסטוריה חברתית של הפלסטינים במאה העשרים. עבודת הדוקטורט שלי (אוניברסיטת בן גוריון בנגב, 2010) עסקה בהגירת כפריים פלסטינים לחיפה ובשינויים החברתיים שחולל תהליך העיור. בשנים האחרונות אני חוקרת עורכי דין ערבים פלסטינים שהוכשרו והתחילו את הקריירה שלהם תחת שלטון המנדט, ושהמשיכו לחיות במדינת ישראל אחרי 1948. אני מתעניינת במיוחד במסלולי הקריירה שלהם ובפעילותם הפוליטית.

I was trained as a historian of the Middle East, and my research focuses on the social history of Palestinians in the twentieth century. My doctoral dissertation (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, 2010) explored the migration of Palestinian villagers to the city of Haifa and the social transformations shaped by this process of urbanization.

In recent years, I have been engaged in a research project examining Palestinian‑Arab lawyers who lived and worked in Palestine under the British Mandate and later in the State of Israel, with particular attention to their professional trajectories and political activities.
